You're invited to help commemorate the 1st anniversary of the year-long performance, “The Poetess at Green Lake,” undertaken by A. K. Allin from July 2006 - July 2007. Allin is a Seattle resident & artist with strong ties to the Green Lake area.

: Name: A. K. Allin

Allin holds an M.A. in Creative Writing from City College of New York. She produces poetry, journals, questionnaires, visual poetry, text-art and poetry-driven performances for public spaces. The name for this project, Nostalgia, is taken from an Andrei Tarkovsky film [Nostaghia]. It refers to that universal place, that homeland we seek, that place we long to come home to, the human spirit. Something the poet embodies. A public journal of this project is available here in posts made between July 2006 - July 2007. Subsequent posts highlight various performance and poetry projects that have taken place since July 2007. Allin is seeking a publisher for her manuscripts, Soviet Poems and Roof of Air.
